About The Position

Dashing Diva is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Development Coordinator to join our team. This is an entry-level position for recent graduates or early career professionals eager to gain hands-on experience in both product development and operations. In this role, you will be managing project timelines, assisting with presentations, organizing sample inventories, and supporting day-to-day team operations. This role provides exposure across the entire product lifecycle while offering opportunities to build a career pathway into the Product Specialist position. The Product Coordinator will thrive in an environment where adaptability, ownership, and organizational excellence are essential to success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 0–2 years of professional experience (internships or projects in beauty/consumer goods a plus).
  • Must be highly organized with strong accountability and note-taking skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail for BOM tracking, sample management, and creative review.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with a willingness to learn project tools (Adobe).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to follow up with stakeholders and keep projects on track.
  • Adaptability and willingness to wear multiple hats in a smaller, fast-moving company.
  • Passion for the beauty industry and curiosity about global and Western beauty trends.

Responsibilities

  • Track project timelines and update trackers to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Create, modify, and track Bills of Materials (BOMs) changes.
  • Support the creation of visual boards and product review presentations.
  • Request and distribute samples for marketing, creative, PR, and consumer testing.
  • Audit creative assets to ensure details are captured accurately.
  • Identify market trends to research design and color trends on a monthly, seasonal, and yearly basis.
  • Assist in sourcing samples for product development and design teams across overseas.
  • Take detailed meeting notes, distill action items, and circulate recaps to partners.
  • Manage sample room: labeling, tracking, and organizing incoming samples.
  • Oversee logistics for sample shipments, PR kits, and consumer study panels.
  • Support off-site work arrangements for team members.
  • Maintain inventory and order office supplies to support day-to-day team needs.
  • Coordinate schedules for team and cross-functional meetings.
  • Assist in creating process decks, trackers, and SOPs to strengthen team workflows.
