Requirements

Strong UX fundamentals and interaction design skills
Ability to structure complex information clearly
Strong visual and product craft, especially in data-heavy interfaces
Comfort collaborating with engineers and technical stakeholders
Curiosity about geospatial, defense, intelligence, mapping, satellite imagery, or enterprise data platforms
Strong communication skills and ability to explain design rationale
Bias toward learning, iteration, and feedback
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee)

Nice To Haves

Enterprise SaaS, developer tools, data platforms, geospatial products, analytics tools, dashboards, or operational systems
Map-based interfaces, data visualization, AI-assisted workflows, or complex B2B products
Design systems or component-based product design
Experience working in ambiguous or technical domains

Responsibilities

Support and own small-to-medium product experiences from early exploration through implementation.
Create clear user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
Work closely with Product and Engineering in a highly technical domain
Help simplify complex workflows involving maps, data, imagery, layers, and system outputs
Contribute to design system consistency
Use AI tools thoughtfully to support research synthesis, ideation, prototyping, and design production
Produce clear, implementation-ready design outputs with minimal ambiguity
