About The Position

Arrive Logistics is looking for a mid-level Product Designer to join their product design team. The designer will work on the company's proprietary transportation management platform, which is used by reps and operations teams to move freight daily. The role involves designing for users who spend long hours in the software under pressure, where dense interfaces and complex workflows can lead to significant costs. The design challenges focus on speed of completion, information hierarchy in high-density interfaces, and reducing friction in frequently repeated tasks.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a product or UX designer, ideally on a B2B or SaaS product.
  • A portfolio showcasing the design thought process, including considered options and rationale for final decisions.
  • Strong Figma skills.
  • Comfort working within an established design system and contributing back to it.
  • Solid interaction design and usability fundamentals, especially in data-dense or workflow-heavy interfaces.
  • Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in an agile-like, sprint-based product development environment.
  • Experience using AI tools in the design process (e.g., Figma Make, Claude).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing for logistics, supply chain, or other complex operational tools.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and own designs for features and flows within the sprint team's area, from early framing through shipped UI.
  • Partner closely with product managers and engineers to define requirements, explore solutions, and rapidly iterate based on feedback.
  • Leverage problem discovery and user research to help sharpen problems before jumping to solutions.
  • Spend time with users to understand their needs and translate those learnings into actionable design decisions.
  • Conduct and synthesize lightweight research, including interviews, usability tests, feedback sessions, and problem discovery.
  • Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma and Miro.
  • Contribute components and patterns to the design system and ensure work is consistent with it.
  • Present work and rationale clearly to the team and stakeholders.
  • Participate in critique sessions with the wider design team, providing and receiving feedback.
