Requirements

• Experience designing and shipping complex, visually appealing products in fast-paced software environments.
• Deep specialization in product design, including interaction design, visual craft, and systems thinking.
• A strong point of view on product design, including an understanding of what makes products successful and areas for improvement.
• Attention to detail in pixels, motion, and other design elements.
• Comfort with ownership, ambiguity, and close collaboration with engineering, product teams, and customers.
• Interest in shaping the future of AI-native software.
• Experience designing information-dense, interactive interfaces where visual details are critical.
• Experience with design systems, real-time collaboration tools, or complex interaction challenges.
• Experience with AI-native interfaces, including agent interactions, managing loading and streaming states, and the nuances of conversational AI.
• A portfolio demonstrating a strong commitment to design craft and the rationale behind design decisions.
• Experience in startup or scale-up environments with a focus on iteration speed and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Designing the look and feel of new product experiences across the hiring workflow, from initial concept to final execution.
• Creating interfaces that convey transparency, trustworthiness, and a sense of a real coworker for AI agents.
• Translating conversational signals into actionable visual information for users.
• Developing fast, high-fidelity prototypes to validate ideas before significant development commitment.
• Establishing and maintaining high standards for motion, density, hierarchy, and overall design aesthetics.
