The Associate, Product Designer is focused on supporting the design and development of innovative building products. This role is perfect for an individual who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about user-centered design. Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in product design, preferably in manufacturing or industrial design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, AutoCAD) and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite.)
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering or related field.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and prototyping of new architectural products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing.
- Translate customer needs and market trends into functional design concepts.
- Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for production.
- Participate in usability testing and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
