  • At least 3 years of consumer electronics design experience, including work on complex products with large multidisciplinary teams.
  • Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, including heat transfer, mechanics of materials, and precision fabrication.
  • Understanding of tight-tolerance fabrication and assembly techniques.
  • Experience composing mechanical drawings, including functional dimensioning and tolerance stack-up analysis.
  • Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and statistical tolerance analysis techniques.
  • Strong proficiency in Siemens NX, including components, assemblies, and drawings.
  • Experience with metrology and interpreting and deriving meaningful insights from FAI data.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities
