About The Position

Accurate is seeking a Product Deployment Specialist for their Edmonton office. This role requires strong technical abilities, a passion for hardware and organization, and the ability to serve multiple customers. The specialist will work closely with various teams to maintain IT systems by responding to internal IT tickets, preparing and deploying hardware and software, and assisting with logistical tasks for both Accurate and its clients.

  • Adaptable with a wide range of technical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving/investigative skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate with everyone from the Receptionist to the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Stage devices for deployment (image, join domain, patch, apply naming standards, and verify functionality) using documented processes.
  • Confirm data retention needs with the client, back up to the bench NAS as required, then securely wipe before reimaging when refreshing or repurposing devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues for both client and internal devices.
  • Handle warranty-based RMAs or recommend cost-effective repair or replacement options when devices are out of warranty.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bench area at all times.
  • Ensure tools, parts, and devices are stored properly and that the work area meets ESD safety standards.
  • Coordinate with the Service Coordinator, Procurement, Field Technicians, and Project Teams to align on timelines, communicate equipment readiness, and escalate delays or shortages proactively.
  • Represent the Centralized Services team professionally in all interactions.
  • Follow all documented procedures for imaging, repairs, RMA handling, and inventory tracking.
  • Keep ticket notes, IT Glue records, and process documentation current.
  • Contribute improvements to documentation where gaps or outdated content are identified.
  • Receive, inspect, and log all incoming hardware shipments, verifying quantities and condition against purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with Procurement to track outstanding orders, flag discrepancies or delays, and ensure equipment is available when needed for deployments and projects.
  • Package and ship outgoing devices accurately, following courier procedures and maintaining chain-of-custody records.
