About The Position

At GE Vernova, we are accelerating the energy transition by tackling one of the greatest challenges of our time—bringing reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy to the world. As a Product Definition Engineer, you won’t just be designing components; you will be helping to engineer the future of wind energy. Joining our team means working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and global impact, where your contributions directly support the decarbonization of our planet. The Product Definition Engineer plays a pivotal role in the end-to-end lifecycle of our wind turbine blades. You will be responsible for translating complex design concepts into precise, high-quality technical documentation that drives our development projects from initial design through to industrialization. A key aspect of this role is your presence at the intersection of engineering and manufacturing—you will provide critical design verification during the production startup at our Proto build factories, ensuring our innovations transition seamlessly from the drawing board to the field. To be successful in this position, you must be a proactive bridge-builder. You will secure high-quality design outputs by fostering close, cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders—including Engineering, Process Engineering, Global Equipment Engineering, Quality, and Sourcing—as well as our external partners. If you are a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering engineering excellence within demanding project timelines, we invite you to join us in shaping the next generation of wind energy.
