About The Position

The Product Data Specialist supports business operations by ensuring product information is accurate, consistent, and reliable across all systems. This role maintains product data standards, performs detailed research, and collaborates cross-functionally to resolve data issues and improve product accuracy. The position also serves as a resource for store associates, helping ensure teams have the information and tools needed to support customers effectively.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of experience in data entry, administrative support, or data maintenance preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain product data standards, rules, and protocols across internal systems to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Enter, validate, and maintain complex product information, including UPCs, vendor data, pricing, descriptions, and attributes.
  • Analyze data reports and partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or gaps in product information.
  • Support system integrations and assist with testing new or enhanced functionality related to product data management.
  • Perform recurring product audits and data scrubs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with company standards.
  • Conduct product research using vendor documentation, OEM references, and other sources to verify or expand product information.
  • Maintain electronic cross-reference tools, including battery solutions, product equivalents, and vendor updates.
  • Serve as a product knowledge resource for store associates by responding to inquiries and researching product-related questions.
  • Collaborate with stores and internal partners to improve product tools, functionality, and data accuracy.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting on tasks, projects, and data improvement initiatives.
