About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Product Data Management Engineer to join our Site Engineering Tools team in Oklahoma City, OK. The successful candidate will administer, trouble-shoot and develop improvements for engineering tools used across several Mobility, Surveillance, and Bomber programs at the Oklahoma City site. Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate & Experienced Level professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• 1 or more years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Configuration Management systems, Change Management, and PLM Processes and Tools.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance Post-Start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

• Collect data to define and validate requirements for new and revised hardware and software systems.
• Assist with the design, development and testing of applications.
• Support trade studies and other forms of analysis to formulate optimum solutions for users.
• Support deployment of new or revised processes in support of new computing systems, by assisting with user training and preparation of relevant documents.
• Assist with development of system integration strategies and architectures that promote use of common tools and processes.
• Assist with evaluation of new computing technologies to support business requirements.
• Work under general supervision.
• Define and validate requirements for new and revised hardware and software systems.
• Design, develop and tests applications.
• Perform trade studies and other forms of analysis to formulate optimum solutions for users.
• Develop and deploy new or revised processes in support of new computing systems, including documentation and training.
• Support the development of system integration strategies and architectures that promote use of common tools and processes.
• Facilitate integration of new technologies and the transition from legacy systems to support business requirements.
• Work under general direction.
