About The Position

CWI Gifts is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Copywriter for its wholesale gift and home décor business. This role involves crafting engaging copy for diverse products such as florals, wall décor, candles, seasonal ornaments, and primitive dolls, for both print catalogs and e-commerce platforms. The copywriter will work closely with products and samples to accurately describe features that drive purchases. This position is a key part of the marketing team, collaborating with other creatives to enhance the wholesale customer shopping experience.

Requirements

Experienced in Ecommerce
Maintaining quality work in a fast-paced environment
Working in Microsoft Word and the Office365 Suite
Meeting weekly and seasonal deadlines
A passion to collaborate and build business relationships internally and externally
Highly motivated and organized
Positive & friendly attitude with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to gracefully receive and give constructive feedback
Team-oriented yet able to happily work independently and efficiently
Time management skills
Comfortable learning new processes and software
At least two years of professional experience in copywriting and/or ecommerce
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, a related degree, or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

Write and publish engaging product copy for use on websites and in print catalogs
Follow our brand tone, voice, and other company guidelines
Help maintain and organize e-commerce websites
Communicate product specifications clearly
Understand and apply keyword and SEO principles
Support customer service and sales teams with accurate product information
