About The Position

GungHo Online Entertainment America Inc. is seeking a Product Coordinator (Japanese Bilingual) for a hybrid position in Los Angeles, CA. This role is responsible for the upkeep of a live operations product, including maintaining game title records, monitoring fan feedback, and ensuring information accuracy. The position offers a potential path towards becoming an Associate Producer.

Requirements

• Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese (both written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong eagerness to learn and grow in the video game industry.
• Passion for games!

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One to two years of localization experience in the same or a similar role preferred.
• Willingness to travel for business as needed.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.
• Marketing knowledge or a related background.
• Proven track record of generating results in a data-driven environment.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Japanese development teams and GungHo America’s production team for a live operations title.
• Monitor product updates and maintenances.
• Request information needed for social media and marketing efforts.
• Share fan feedback with Japanese development teams.
• Translate informational material accurately between written Japanese and English.
• Provide feedback on marketing materials.
• Verify the accuracy of in-game messaging.
• Verify the accuracy of messaging on all official channels.
• Act as a helpful presence for fans.
• Create proposals for tournaments, giveaways, and merchandise at live events.
• Assist with KPI data analysis.
• Ensure correct timings for messages, announcements, and reveals.
