About The Position

Workiz is seeking a Product Content & Enablement Specialist to translate complex product concepts into clear, customer-facing content and ensure employees have the necessary product knowledge. This role involves creating help center articles, release communications, in-app guidance, video scripts, and UI copy to help customers discover and adopt new features. Additionally, the specialist will own internal product training for customer-facing teams, co-facilitate training sessions, maintain LMS content, and ensure employees are knowledgeable about product updates. The role requires close collaboration with Product and Enablement teams to set priorities and maintain quality across content creation and training delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience in content writing, technical writing, customer and internal enablement, or a related field
  • Strong facilitator with exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Ability to simplify complex product workflows into clear, user-friendly content
  • Comfortable owning both written content deliverables and live or async training delivery
  • Strong judgment when reviewing AI-generated content for accuracy and clarity
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Design, and L&D teams
  • Organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A customer-first mindset with equal care for the internal employee experience
  • Experience creating content for SaaS products or B2B software
  • Experience with LMS administration and creating internal training and async content
  • Familiarity with field service management, CRM, or operations software
  • Experience with video editing or creating product tutorial videos
  • Experience writing UI/UX copy and designing onboarding experiences, both customer-facing and internal
  • Experience working cross-functionally on a global team
  • Familiarity with AI-powered products and customer education best practices

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain help center articles, FAQs, and step-by-step product documentation
  • Develop release communications including in-app announcements, emails, and product update posts
  • Write and maintain customer-facing UI and UX copy
  • Create self-guided product tours and interactive walkthroughs
  • Write video scripts and storyboard content for product tutorials and feature launches
  • Create visually engaging content using screenshots, annotations, GIFs, and other visual aids
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to support feature launches and customer adoption campaigns
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate content creation, refine messaging, and improve usability
  • Co-facilitate live and async product training sessions, demos, and workshops for customer-facing teams
  • Own internal product enablement for customer-facing teams (CS, Support, Sales)
  • Build and maintain internal enablement materials including training decks, release guides, and role-specific product cheat sheets
  • Co-facilitate product modules in new hire onboarding
  • Manage and update LMS content and internal team assessments
  • Partner with Product to translate complex product roadmap updates into interactive, high-impact training materials
  • Use support ticket trends, internal feedback, and product insights to identify knowledge gaps and close them proactively
  • Audit and update existing content regularly to ensure accuracy and consistency across all channels
  • Partner with Product and Design to ensure content aligns with the user experience
  • Track content performance and surface insights to improve adoption and reduce support friction
