As the Product Compliance Regulatory Manager, you will serve as a regulatory subject matter expert responsible for ensuring product and business compliance across a complex chemical portfolio. With a strong focus on TSCA and EPA requirements, you will partner with Legal, IT, Commercial, Sales, Supply Chain, and regulatory agencies to manage compliance risks, resolve complex regulatory matters, and embed compliance into business processes and systems. This role requires strong judgment, ownership, and the ability to make practical decisions in complex and high-risk regulatory situations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in chemical product regulatory, regulatory compliance, chemical manufacturing/distribution, consulting, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of TSCA, EPA regulations, and U.S. chemical regulatory requirements.
  • Experience interpreting regulations and translating requirements into practical business processes and controls.
  • Experience with regulatory agencies, audits, enforcement matters, or other complex compliance issues.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Legal, IT, Commercial, Sales, and Supply Chain teams.
  • SAP/S/4HANA experience strongly preferred, particularly involving regulatory data or process controls.
  • Strong decision-making, analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, high-risk situations and balance regulatory, customer, and business requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP/S/4HANA experience strongly preferred, particularly involving regulatory data or process controls.

Responsibilities

  • Own key chemical regulatory programs, with a primary focus on TSCA and EPA requirements.
  • Ensure products can be purchased, transported, sold, and used in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical guidance, processes, and controls for the business.
  • Assess compliance requirements related to vendors, products, customer applications, contracts, and product data.
  • Partner with IT and business teams to integrate regulatory controls into SAP S/4HANA and related systems.
  • Identify regulatory risks and implement controls to prevent compliance exposure.
  • Lead or support responses to regulatory inquiries, audits, Notices of Violation, enforcement actions, and other compliance matters.
  • Serve as a key liaison with regulatory agencies, including the EPA and DEA, as well as external consultants and legal partners.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Commercial, Sales, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to resolve complex compliance issues.
  • Maintain ownership of regulatory commitments, corrective actions, documentation, and agency follow-up.
  • Provide regulatory guidance and training to internal stakeholders and help strengthen the company's compliance culture.
