As Compliance Officer, you’ll own our product certification programs and ensure our equipment meets all regulatory requirements across facilities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with UL and/or ETL certification programs; familiarity with UL 891 strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities across facilities
  • Effective communicator with experience working cross-functionally across engineering, operations, and external partners

Nice To Haves

  • experience in industrial or electrical manufacturing
  • Epicor or ERP systems
  • NEC/NFPA familiarity
  • quality certifications (ISO, Six Sigma)

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage certification programs including UL 891, UL 508A, and ETL switchboard listings; evaluate and launch new programs as product lines expand
  • Serve as the primary liaison with UL and Intertek, leading audits, inspections, product submissions, and ongoing compliance communication
  • Ensure manufacturing processes and facilities remain fully compliant with applicable standards; maintain accurate certification and audit records
  • Build and manage staff certification programs, including tracking, training, and recertification across multiple sites
  • Coordinate and represent the company during high-power lab testing; partner with Engineering to ensure compliance is built into product design
  • Lead internal compliance audits, manage labeling programs, and drive corrective actions when issues arise
