About The Position

This role assists Product Business Analysts and Product Owners with requirement gathering and other tasks to complement standard agile practices. The analyst will collaborate with end users, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other business stakeholders. A key part of the role involves creating effective documentation to support learning and knowledge transfer between business and IT team members, and supporting tasks for projects, system enhancements, and continuous improvement. The analyst will also provide daily client communication to problem-solve and support end users with time-sensitive needs, and support data validation and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study. In lieu of a degree, 3 or more years of business analyst and/or financial services/life insurance industry experience.
  • At least one year of experience functioning in an Agile environment is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and make quality decisions within the scope of responsibility.
  • Prior experience preferred with industry-related software: MS Office, JIRA, SharePoint, and/or other web-based applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or similar tools.

Responsibilities
