About The Position

Functions as a member of a production team whose goal is to assemble required components, operate equipment, inspect in-process devices and maintain the quality and integrity of the products at all times. Build Quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements. Follow and adhere to company policy and procedures. Perform multiple operations of a more complex nature on a functional area, such as assembly, inspection of in-process units and assemblies; material documentation, handling, and control. Demonstrate initiative. Complete training on production tasks and maintain updated individual training records. Demonstrate and apply a solid understanding of how to use measuring instruments. Use computers at a proficient level as needed for confirmations, issuing materials, and printing labels. Understand and apply Core 5 Metrics in relation to daily tasks. Participate in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency. Use a microscope and other hand-held tools as required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 1+ years experience in manufacturing and/or quality (production, packaging, labeling incoming and shipping, critical systems, etc.) preferred
  • Demonstrates and has mastered all skills associated with Product Builder 1 role for 1+ years or has prior medical device related experience
  • Demonstrates ability to be cross-trained
  • Demonstrates good knowledge of component identification and documentation requirements
  • Must have good working knowledge of MP's and WIs in their training plans
  • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours
  • Ability to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years experience in manufacturing and/or quality (production, packaging, labeling incoming and shipping, critical systems, etc.)
  • Prior medical device related experience
