Description As an Assembler at Caterpillar, you will follow documented procedures to safely assemble and adjust parts and components while ensuring defect-free production. In this role, you will apply lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and eliminate waste, and you will use industrial power tools as well as lifting devices to assemble products and move heavy components.

Requirements

  • At least 9 months of machine assembly or logistics experience
  • Requires basic proficiency using a PC and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)
  • Some proficiency with MES systems (Pinpoint/SAP/Device Wise)

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience
  • Heavy equipment or machine assembly experience
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and work instructions
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proven initiative with the ability to work independently when required
  • Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks as business needs change
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn all PDC tasks and selected logistics functions
