About The Position
The Product Analyst supports Product Management and the client-facing team at TMX VettaFI. The role provides day-to-day analytics and attribution for clients, creates and maintains standard reports for the firm’s investment strategies, and prepares presentation materials. The analyst works closely with client-facing, research, marketing, and compliance teams. The role is hybrid, with three days per week in the office, and is based in Newport Beach, California.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of capital markets and investment concepts.
- 1–3 years of investment industry experience.
Nice To Haves
- A degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering is preferred.
- Interest in pursuing the CFA designation.
- Experience with FactSet, Morningstar, and Bloomberg.
- Coding experience.
Responsibilities
- Create charts and graphs for client service and prospect presentations.
- Update presentation materials and standard performance and characteristic reports for Research Affiliates’ investment strategies.
- Conduct analysis on RAFI performance and peer comparisons.
- Generate performance attributions and other ad hoc analytics using FactSet.
- Write commentary on investment strategy performance.
- Provide analytics support to product managers.
