Product Analyst

RevSpring•Nashville, TN

About The Position

The Product Analyst covers both our health system and health plan product lines, partnering closely with Product Managers: taking a business question, digging into the data, forming a point of view on what it means, and coming back with a recommendation. This person will be the connective tissue between what our applications log and what Product, Sales, and Customer Success need to know to make a decision.

Requirements

  • Expert proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis, and hands on comfort with a BI tool such as Looker.
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts and their application to product experimentation, and the judgment to know when a result is meaningful versus noise.
  • Proven ability to translate an ambiguous business question into a testing plan or analysis approach with limited supervision.
  • A healthy skepticism of your own output: you inspect results before sharing them and can tell when a number looks wrong before a customer does.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical, executive and cross-functional audiences.
  • Comfort covering more than one product segment or portfolio at once, since this role spans both health system and health plan products.

Nice To Haves

  • Ideally in a SaaS or healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Inform feature impact and roadmap sequencing: quantify how individual features move the metrics that matter, giving Product a data backed basis for sequencing the roadmap and giving Customer Success a concrete case for encouraging customers to adopt more features.
  • Drive AI and search enhancement: analyze natural language search queries and common questions across our products to directly inform AI-powered search improvements, and identify opportunities to expand search coverage and improve matching logic.
  • Benchmark across products and customers: compare engagement across our product lines to understand where each is winning and why, benchmark scheduling conversion across customers to build a best practices playbook for Customer Success and Solutions Architects.
  • Build self-serve tools for commercial and customer facing teams: package repeatable value analyses into tools that Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions Architects can run themselves, so they can quickly position new products and features to customers from a value opportunity standpoint.
  • Set instrumentation requirements up front: partner with Product and Engineering before a feature ships to define what needs to be tracked, so measurement is built in from the start instead of added after the fact.
  • Explore emerging measurement needs: help scope how our products influence visibility in AI driven and generative search as that channel becomes a bigger part of how patients find providers.
  • Own the full analysis, not just the query: probe what a customer or internal stakeholder is really asking, inspect the results for whether they make sense, and provide a recommendation rather than a raw data pull.
