About The Position

The Product Analyst Intern will join CCC’s Automotive Product team for a hands-on internship experience focused on data analytics, product insights, and customer-driven decision-making. This role provides exposure to how data informs product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and customer experience improvements across the product lifecycle. As a Product Analyst Intern, you will work closely with the Senior Product Analyst and Director of Product Strategy to support real product initiatives by analyzing data, preparing insights, and helping translate customer and market signals into actionable recommendations. This role sits at the intersection of data analytics and product management, providing a 360-degree view of how product opportunities are identified, developed, tested, and delivered to market.

Requirements

This role will be based out of our Chicago HQ office, providing the opportunity to collaborate with fellow CCC Interns over the summer.
We have a hybrid workplace (e.g., several days in office, several days remote).
Consideration for a fully remote position will be given to strong candidates.
Currently an undergraduate junior or above pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science , or a relevant STEM-related major
Experience with data analysis tools / languages such as Excel, SQL, Python , R and data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
Experience with (or willingness to learn) product management tools like Aha!, Miro, or Figma , and CRM platforms like Salesforce
Interest in learning how product analytics drives organizational decision making, with a desire to learn product analytics platforms like Pendo
Strong interest in testing leading generative / agentic AI solutions and analytics automation tools to help Senior Product Analyst design scalable, proactive analytics reporting frameworks

Responsibilities

Support product performance analysis
Analyze product usage, adoption, and performance data to help identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement across CCC’s Automotive solutions.
Learn how to use product analytics tools, like Pendo, to build funnel insights and identify drop‑off points, friction areas, and moments of user frustration.
Create reports, dashboards, and presentations
Use Excel and visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau to build clear, compelling reports and presentations that communicate actionable insights to product and business stakeholders.
Assist with customer and market insights
Help gather, synthesize, and interpret customer feedback and market research to better understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points to inform future product enhancements.
Conduct exploratory and ad hoc analysis
Assist with analyses related to in-product experiments, A/B testing, feature launches, go-to-market initiatives, and pricing optimization under the guidance of a Senior Product Analyst and direction from senior business leaders.
