Product Analyst Intern (hybrid)
About The Position
The Grange Intern Development Program offers a unique 14-week internship experience designed to expose students to the insurance industry through networking, mentoring, hands-on work experience, and community service. Interns will work day-to-day in their respective departments while also collaborating on a corporate project that concludes with a capstone presentation to senior leaders. This program runs from mid-May to mid-August. The Product Analyst Intern will assist in and support the execution of the Personal Lines Strategy, focusing on key activities for strategic initiatives such as Target Customer and PL Portfolio Management.
Requirements
- Working toward a college degree in an analytical discipline such as Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, or any other applicable degree.
- Experience with personal computers
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet applications
Responsibilities
- Target Customer Strategy
- Personal Lines Portfolio Management Strategy
- Support pricing and state product managers in preparing analysis for the rate review process
- Support state product managers and national team projects and initiatives
- Market and competitive research
- Perform other research and analysis as needed/requested
