Product Analyst / Business Systems Analyst - Hybrid
About The Position
Genesis10 is seeking a Product Analyst / Business Systems Analyst for a contract-to-hire role with a Regional Health Insurance Provider in Eagan, MN. This hybrid role requires two days onsite per week, with the option to work remotely for the remaining three days. The position involves partnering with business and technical teams to support ITS processes, healthcare payer integrations, data mapping, and functional requirements. Key activities include investigating issues, documenting requirements, coordinating ITS activities, and ensuring reliable data exchange across systems. The role's focus is approximately 50% ITS, 30% data mapping, and 20% functional requirements.
Requirements
- Approximately 3-4+ years of relevant Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst experience
- Healthcare payer or health insurance industry experience
- Experience with ITS and/or related healthcare payer systems
- Strong data mapping experience
- Working SQL proficiency and the ability to navigate databases and investigate data
- Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Direct ITS experience
- Healthcare claims experience
- Experience reviewing batch jobs and supporting operational issue resolution
- Experience coordinating with the inter-plan governing association
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements
- Perform source-to-target data mapping and define transformation requirements
- Support ITS processes and integrations
- Coordinate ITS-related communications and follow-ups with the inter-plan governing association
- Review batch-job execution and investigate processing or data issues
- Use SQL to query databases and analyze data
- Support data mapping across files, ETL processes, and APIs
- Partner with business, development, architecture, testing, and Scrum teams
- Track outstanding items and help keep teams aligned
- Support testing, issue resolution, and project documentation
