About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate or Experienced Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B/C) to join the Quality Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on a variable shift. Requirements

  • 1+ year of aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience.
  • 1+ year of experience as Quality Inspector or in a related inspection role within a similar industry
  • Must be able to walk up/downstairs and bend/stoop frequently.
  • Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
  • To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience identifying engineering characteristics on product and utilizing calibrated equipment to measure and report results
  • 787 Program Experience.
  • Experience in a team environment.
  • Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.

Responsibilities

  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
  • Provides objective evidence of results.
  • Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies.
  • Segregates and controls non-conforming items.
  • Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
  • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
