About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate or Experienced Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B/C) to join the Quality Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on a variable shift. Requirements

1+ year of aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience.
1+ year of experience as Quality Inspector or in a related inspection role within a similar industry
Must be able to walk up/downstairs and bend/stoop frequently.
Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience identifying engineering characteristics on product and utilizing calibrated equipment to measure and report results
787 Program Experience.
Experience in a team environment.
Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.

Responsibilities

Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
Provides objective evidence of results.
Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.
Identifies and documents discrepancies.
Segregates and controls non-conforming items.
Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
