Product Acceptance Specialist
About The Position
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B) to support the 787 Program SQ Receiving Inspection Team based in North Charleston, South Carolina on a 2nd Shift. Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry
- 1+ year of experience Manufacturing Execution System common image (MESci)
- 1+ year of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year using Velocity, REDARs and/or CMES
- Experience identifying critical path analysis, float analysis, schedule impact analysis, recovery planning, root cause analysis, trend analysis, schedule quality metrics, and risk analysis
- Mastery of inspection techniques using visual, tactile and tool assisted inspection methods
- Experience in a team environment
- Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience
- 787 Program Experience
Responsibilities
- Verifies complex product conformance to design requirements.
- Provides objective evidence of results
- Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring
- Identifies and documents discrepancies
- Segregates and controls non-conforming items
- Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance
- Conducts product review with customer during product or certification
- Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformance and initiate requests for corrective action
