About The Position

Future opportunity for a Senior Producer. While this role is not currently open, we are always looking to connect with talented professionals like yourself for upcoming opportunities. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth for all specialisms within the US MBM practice (and Gallagher overall) by: ensuring adherence to the MBM strategy, embedding a proactive discipline over opportunity creation and management, working closely with marketing, and building and maintaining valuable relationships internally and externally for both brand awareness and opportunity creation. The role while responsible for overall sales activity in the region, will have a personal individual focus on expansion of our key global clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years related experience required OR High School Diploma/GED and 8 years experience.
  • Life & Health and/or Property & Casualty insurance licenses

Responsibilities

  • Manages a small team of dedicated business development specialists, whom sell across the MBM practice, focused primarily on cross selling to existing US headquartered clients, but also potentially direct and partnership sales streams.
  • Manages the annual sales planning activity (translating and aligning global MBM strategy to local Business Line (Talent) and US (GBS) strategy
  • Works closely with MBM & Regional US marketing teams to ensure our events and campaign activity align with broader US regional activity
  • Works closely with the Sales Enablement Team (SET) to ensure interactions and support remain aligned to goals
  • Oversee ongoing pipe management and ensure discipline in the team to meet annual sales targets
  • Drive efficiency into the sales process for optimal delivery of growth
  • Ensure MBM leadership receives regular update on the pipe and opportunities nearing closed won status
  • Ensure good working relationship with MBM BU leaders for communication and transference of wins into the respective specialist teams in alignment with agreed process
  • Ensure good working relationship with US Regional leaders and producers for successful joint bid scenarios
  • Monitor competitor feedback in bid situations (both supported by and not supported by SET) to further inform our SME’s on advancements in market, new positioning, and generally what’s working and what’s not
  • Convey strategic and client centric focus, emphasizing on solution selling
  • Report on MBM sales – including analytics on conversion rates and means of improving win cadence required to achieve sales and revenue numbers.
  • Assist, educate and develop other staff members involved in new client sales situations.
  • Support the MBM Academy in educating our domestic colleagues on international, with a view from growing talent from within and improving long term connectivity into the regions.
  • Demonstrate strong team working and leadership traits
  • Be the face of MBM US, attending relevant client facing Gallagher and industry events, and speaking engagements where possible
  • Develop and maintain interdivision/intercompany relationships consistent with our corporate culture
  • Support Practice Leader and Global Growth Leader Initiatives, as well as, team and corporate initiatives
  • Establish primary relationship with client (working with US lead if stronger or until MBM prominence established).
  • Establish a clear account plan with known engagement points across business to determine & prioritizes opportunities.
  • Establish engagement cadence & rules of engagement with other proposition areas.
  • Become the point of escalation for issues during the sales process & conduit for feedback to BU/ proposition leaders responsible.
  • Provide feedback on proposition – gaps / emerging trends.
  • Lead in leveraging campaigns on assigned clients.
  • Supports identification of clients for GPSF & interest in speaking.
