About The Position

At Wegmans, the Produce department helps customers live healthier, better lives by offering a variety of delicious and unique fruits and vegetables from around the world. As part of the Produce team, you will work with others to educate customers and ensure the freshest fruits and vegetables are available throughout the day. This role suits someone passionate about fresh food and working in a fast-paced environment. The position is part-time and is located at 55 US Highway 9 South, Manalapan, NJ 07726. Availability is required for mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends. Applicants must be 18 years or older. Pay is $17–$17.50 per hour.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

Provide incredible service to customers and help them locate what they need.
Keep shelves and displays stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables.
Trim, package, and rotate products as necessary to maintain appearance and quality.
May unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays, and backroom coolers with new and existing products and inventory.
Work with the Produce team to educate customers and help ensure fresh fruits and vegetables are available throughout the day.
