About The Position
Wilson Farm is seeking a Produce Sales Associate for its highly regarded Produce Department. This is a full-time position that starts at $18.00/hr and is for the closing shift (10 am - 7:30/7:45 pm). Wilson Farm has been in operation since 1884 and is known for its bakery, grocery selections, locally grown produce, prepared foods, flowers, and plants, all supported by courteous and helpful staff. They employ customer-driven individuals dedicated to enhancing the farm-fresh shopping experience.
Requirements
- Prior Produce experience required (Whole Foods, Roche Brothers, Market Basket or independent grocery)
- Must be polite with outstanding customer service skills and excellent communication skills in person or by phone - fluent in English.
- Enthusiastic, outgoing personality; positive attitude, strong work ethic.
- Reliable/punctual - reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Assist customers both in person and by phone with questions and selecting products
- Stocking, rotating and replenishing shelves with appropriate products as needed
- General clean up, organizing of produce floor area to maintain neat appearance
- Other related tasks as assigned by department Managers or Owner
