As a Produce Department Manager at Albertsons Companies, you will oversee daily produce operations, ensure high standards for freshness and presentation, and drive sales through strong merchandising and inventory control. Ability to review sales, shrink, and inventory data to drive results

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the Produce Department with a focus on freshness, quality, and customer service
Deliver knowledgeable, friendly service and ensure associates demonstrate strong product knowledge
Execute corporate merchandising programs, planograms, seasonal sets, and promotional displays
Maintain full, fresh, clean, and visually appealing produce displays at all times
Manage product rotation, remove damaged or unsellable items, and maintain freshness standards
Order, receive, inspect, and store product following food safety and rotation guidelines
Manage shrink through inventory controls, root-cause identification, and waste-reduction strategies
Build and manage labor schedules aligned with business needs
Train, coach, and develop produce associates while maintaining a positive team environment
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, safety, and company operational standards
