Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, schedule, and supervise Produce Department associates to ensure appropriate staffing and strong performance.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by providing knowledgeable, friendly, and professional service.
  • Plan, execute, and maintain high‑quality produce displays that meet company merchandising and marketing standards.
  • Manage department financial performance, including budgeting, sales forecasting, inventory control, and shrink reduction.
  • Oversee ordering, receiving, rotation, and inspection of produce to ensure freshness, quality, and code‑date compliance.
  • Execute weekly marketing programs and support all corporate and divisional initiatives with accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, weights and measures, and safety regulations at all times.
  • Address and resolve customer questions or concerns calmly and effectively.
  • Ensure accurate pricing, signage, and labeling, including Country of Origin requirements.
