About The Position

The Produce Manager reports directly to the Store Manager at his assigned location. The Produce Manager is expected to provide day-to-day leadership of the Store’s Produce Team while working as a “key” member of its larger, Fresh Goods Leadership Team. Key Accountabilities: Accountable for the profitable operation of his/her Departments, budgets, goals and shrink. Produce Team Leadership and a champion for “Putting People First” Employee Relations, by establishing, developing, training and maintaining exceptional customer service by all Produce employees.

Requirements

Attain at least 21 years of age
Have a valid driver’s license and willing to travel between our locations as needed
Able to occasionally be required to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50# - and occasionally 80#
This role requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
Previous managerial experience
Thorough knowledge of industry trends

Responsibilities

Assures proper rotation, sanitization, and is certified in food safety.
