About The Position

We are looking for a responsible, organized, and customer-oriented Produce Lead to support the daily operations of the Produce department. The position combines fruit and vegetable replenishment, product rotation, display maintenance, merchandise receiving, and customer service to ensure the area is always fresh, organized, and well-presented. This role is key to maintaining high standards of quality, freshness, and presentation throughout the shift. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, active, and able to follow up on the department's daily priorities, helping to keep fruits, vegetables, and related products properly stocked, organized, and ready for our customers. They will also need to identify opportunities to improve displays, product arrangement, and area organization, contributing to maintaining an attractive, fresh, and functional department.

Requirements

Previous experience in produce, grocery, supermarket, fruits and vegetables, retail food, or similar positions preferred.
Basic knowledge of rotation, handling, display, and presentation of fresh products.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and customer-oriented operation.
Experience following up on daily tasks, training employees, or supporting department operations preferred.
Ability to lift, move, and organize merchandise according to department needs.
Responsible, organized, punctual, and reliable person.
Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as per operational needs.

Responsibilities

Maintain fruits, vegetables, and related products properly displayed, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
Supervise proper product rotation to ensure freshness, quality, and minimize waste.
Receive, inspect, and organize merchandise following quality standards and proper product handling.
Maintain clean, attractive, and well-stocked displays, proposing improvements in product presentation and arrangement to enhance the customer experience.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs when necessary.
Provide customer service and assistance regarding products, availability, and merchandise location.
Support the daily organization of the department, follow up on operational priorities, and collaborate on other tasks related to the Produce area as business needs require.
