With over 100,000 member-owners and 650+ team members across various locations including Gas Bars, a Home Centre, Cardlock/Bulk Fuel Stations, Food Stores, Liquor Stores, and an Administration Office, the co-op is committed to sustainable growth and community benefit. This position is for a Part-Time Produce Clerk at the Hawkstone Food Store in Edmonton, AB, focusing on ensuring a positive customer experience through friendly greetings, engagement, and providing product knowledge.
Requirements
- Strong verbal communication skills
- An enthusiastic approach to work
- Efficient and accurate when working in a busy environment
- Must be able to lift 30lbs consistently
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service to customers in the produce area
- Package, wrap, and label produce
- Maintain a display of produce ensuring facing, filling and organization of products meets company standards
- Monitor temperatures, clean equipment and workspaces
- Other duties as required
