About The Position

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft HRMS Technical Developer to support the implementation and configuration of our custom Compensation solutions that reside in our on-prem PeopleSoft HRMS environment. This role requires a unique blend of both technical expertise and functional understanding of Human Capital Management processes, specifically related to Compensation Management. The ideal candidate will also have experience in Oracle HCM Cloud modules, including experience in customizing Oracle HCM Cloud using technologies such as JavaScript and Visual Builder Studio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree Information Technology, Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience working in PeopleSoft HRMS, with a strong understanding of both technical and functional aspects of compensation management solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience working in Oracle HCM Cloud, with particular emphasis on UI customizations, BI Publisher reports, and implementation of the Redwood UI platform.
  • Prior experience in implementing or supporting Oracle HCM solutions, including system configuration and customization.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL, JavaScript, PeopleCode, SQR, and general PeopleSoft development using App Designer.
  • Proficiency in Redwood UI, Visual Builder Studio, and reporting tools like OTBI and BI Publisher.
  • Strong understanding of Compensation Management processes and policies, including their relation to other HR and GL functions.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to pick up new skills and learn new technologies on the fly without sacrificing delivery schedules or project timelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with APIs, web services, OIC, and other integration tools for data exchange between Oracle HCM and external systems are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into effective solutions, primarily in PeopleSoft HRMS but also in Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Collaborate with HR and Compensation business users to gather functional requirements, create system specifications, and design solutions that align with best practices.
  • Perform technical activities including system configuration and development to implement customizations and add-on functionality as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong fluency in PeopleSoft SQR, Application Engine, component processing, Application Designer, and PeopleCode.
  • Assist with customization of Oracle HCM Cloud using JavaScript to control UI behavior and embedding this JavaScript onto Oracle pages in Classic, Responsive, and Redwood UI platforms.
  • Development of custom reports, interfaces, and processes for Oracle HCM Cloud using BI Publisher and OIC.
  • Participate in PeopleSoft HRMS and Oracle HCM implementation projects, providing both functional and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist with system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide post-implementation support and ongoing system enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, customizations, and processes within the custom PeopleSoft Compensation modules and Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Train end users and HR teams on system functionality, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices.
  • Maintain system documentation, ensuring updates are made as changes are implemented.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless system integration and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding of system changes and enhancements.
