This job’s key function is to perform data analysis to provide insights and recommendations to support Gerdau’s Procurement processes and practices. The role should also continually develop and manage action plans, often acting as a lead to coordinate projects and improvements. The Procurement Systems Analyst will work with minimal supervision from the Improvement and Innovation Manager, developing and managing action plans, generating meaningful metrics, creating accurate, timely and impactful reporting and presenting and deploying strategies to help the organization meet its strategic goals. The Procurement Systems Analyst will be responsible for analysis, recommendations, development and deployment of action plans and process improvements with little need of validation by the Innovation and Improvement Manager. This role is accountable for data stewardship (automation and processes), Power BI (development and routine reporting), regression/statistical modeling and predictive capabilities (development and routine analysis) and work as lead coordinating projects. The Procurement Systems Analyst will be responsible for creating actionable insights, collaboration, predictive analysis, machine learning, data scrapping and recommending specific actions to drive business objectives. The Procurement Systems Analyst must focus on building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to continuously gather new insights into the procurement process. It is essential to stay updated on the latest advancements in analytics and artificial intelligence and to share this knowledge within the organization.
