About The Position

We're currently hiring for an experienced Procurement Supervisor to lead purchasing activities and oversee a team of Buyers and Expeditors in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supplier management, procurement execution, cost analysis, and material readiness while supporting production schedules and maintaining compliance with aerospace/defense industry standards.

Requirements

5+ years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
1–3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong supplier management, purchasing, pricing, and negotiation experience.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and procurement tracking tools.
Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
Ability to read BOMs, drawings, specifications, and production schedules.

Nice To Haves

Experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and AS9100 compliance.
Purchasing CNC machined parts, castings, harnesses, circuit card assemblies, mechanical assemblies, motors, gears, and fabricated components.

Responsibilities

Supervise Buyers and Expeditors, providing coaching and daily support.
Manage procurement activities, supplier performance, and purchase order execution.
Support RFQ processes, quote evaluations, pricing analysis, and vendor negotiations.
Monitor supplier deliveries, expedite critical materials, and resolve shortages.
Partner with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Program teams to support manufacturing schedules.
Track procurement KPIs including cost savings, on-time delivery, and material availability.
Ensure compliance with company policies, FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and AS9100 requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supplier management processes.
