About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Procurement Manager, performs various tasks in supervising the purchase of goods and services while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Work involves communication with vendors and chefs on all aspects of procurement.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years in Foodservice Procurement/Supply Chain or working as an operator or within a support role to operators of foodservice establishments
  • Related bachelor’s degree (Finance, Supply Chain, Business, other)
  • Experience in conducting procurement savings initiatives, spend analysis, supplier performance management, and other procurement program
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Must be a team player and committed to working in a quality environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills required
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills
  • Emotional Maturity: Ability to build constructive relationships to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • HSEQ Compliance: All employees must adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. This includes following safety protocols, maintaining environmental responsibility, and upholding quality standards in all tasks. Employees are expected to actively participate in HSEQ training and report any potential hazards or compliance concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Net Menu order training
  • Monitors all invoices for discrepancies, out of stocks , and mispicks.
  • Ensures tasks by times are being followed by receivers.
  • Supervises drivers picking up products; as well as other teams.
  • Ensures quality standards of all received product
  • Notifies the manager of any credit/ returns that need to be processed.
  • Creates all placeholders in Netmenu for Non EDI Vendors, follows all ordering procedures.
  • Orders all necessary product for kitchen including: Perishables/ non-perishables, supplies, and other areas of the operation
  • Updating/ tracking MOGS and order guides on Netmenu, and Freshdesk.
  • Supports leadership in conducting inventories, and putting together inventory.
  • Analyzes and controls product waste and transfers through transfer sheets.
  • Maximize proper procedures for storing, rotating and stocking product
  • Monitors temperature logs of kitchen for accuracy.
  • Follows and complies, or ensures compliance with ISS company standards including health and sanitation, and work safety practices.
