About The Position

Responsible for a variety of procurement and vendor-related duties to support the Procurement team. This role involves purchasing incoming vehicles from vendors at a salvage yard, requiring effective communication, adherence to pricing guidelines, and excellent customer service skills. The position is not for purchasing vehicles at auctions.

Requirements

• High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in buying automotive vehicles at salvage yards.
• Great customer service skills are a must.
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Ability to create, maintain, and incorporate functions into documents, spreadsheets, databases.
• Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.

Nice To Haves

• College coursework preferred.
• Automotive background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Purchase incoming vehicles from vendors utilizing established check-in procedures.
• Facilitate communication with vendors to purchase vehicles following inspections and set guidelines for pricing.
• Achieve set customer service levels.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
