About The Position

We are seeking a detail-driven Procurement Specialist with semiconductor industry experience to support strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement execution for high-impact semiconductor projects. This role is ideal for a professional who understands the complexity of sourcing critical materials, equipment, and services within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring material availability, supplier performance, cost optimization, and seamless project execution while partnering with engineering, operations, logistics, and project teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain experience.
  • Experience supporting semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, construction, industrial equipment, or high-tech industries.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and material planning.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and procurement tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Semiconductor manufacturing, fab construction, cleanroom, or semiconductor equipment procurement experience.
  • Experience sourcing technical materials, specialty equipment, or high-value components.
  • Mandarin and English bilingual skills are highly preferred.
  • Experience working with global suppliers and international supply chains.

Responsibilities

  • Support sourcing activities for semiconductor materials, manufacturing equipment, construction-related materials, and critical services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and maintain qualified suppliers based on cost, quality, technical capability, lead time, and reliability.
  • Manage RFQs, bid evaluations, supplier quotations, and procurement recommendations.
  • Support supplier negotiations including pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and commercial agreements.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to improve sourcing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure supply continuity.
  • Coordinate supplier communications, documentation, onboarding, and qualification processes.
  • Track supplier performance related to quality, delivery, responsiveness, and compliance.
  • Support resolution of supplier issues impacting project schedules or operations.
  • Create, process, and maintain purchase orders within ERP/procurement systems.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, engineering, and project teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Support inventory visibility, material tracking, and delivery coordination.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records for reporting and audit requirements.
  • Track procurement spending, analyze cost trends, and support budget management.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, supplier optimization, and process improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement operations.
