About The Position

Rolfson Oil, a leading provider of bulk fuel and lubricants since 1985, is seeking a Procurement Specialist. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our maintenance department by managing parts, supplies, and vendor relationships across our service areas in North Dakota, Texas, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Colorado. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have a solid understanding of the automotive industry.

Requirements

Automotive Industry knowledge required.
Advanced interpersonal skills, written, and oral communication.
Advanced computer skills: typing, scanning, etc.
Ability to multitask in a high-pace environment.
Excellent Communication Skills.

Responsibilities

Update various department asset spreadsheets and keep asset folders current.
Communicate daily with the Maintenance Manager regarding assigned tasks and needs.
Communicate with vendors, both written and orally, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts and supplies.
Order parts and supplies daily as needed for the shops.
Continuously shop for better pricing and services from vendors for maintenance parts and supplies.
Responsible for monthly inventory of parts numbers.
Maintain up-to-date vehicle registrations and other required vehicle documentation.
Manage trucks and trailers at repair shops and relay estimated times of arrival (ETA) to the appropriate management.
Track and analyze costs related to maintenance expenses in each market.
Review credit card statements and approve bills for the maintenance department.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned by supervisors.
