About The Position

The Procurement Specialist works with lighting vendors and project sales representatives to coordinate buyout strategies and fulfill project needs based on drawings and specifications. The role involves creating competitive lighting packages and negotiating fair-market quotes for clients. It offers opportunities to build lasting relationships with vendors and clients and learn the business from multiple perspectives. The specialist is an integral member of the Colonial Major Projects team and works in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience using software tools including Excel, Word, and Google equivalents.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Internal motivation and a desire to succeed.
• Professionalism and a positive, outgoing attitude.
• Ability to adapt to new priorities and software programs.
• Ability to communicate clearly with peers and customers.
