About The Position

Wiedenbach Brown, an affiliate of U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI), is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Lighting Estimator. This is a fully remote, full-time position paying $75,000 and up, depending on experience. The Lighting Estimator manages the project bidding phase and works with clients, design teams, Sales, junior estimators, project managers, and vendors to develop accurate lighting quotations and submittal packages.

Requirements

Five or more years of experience in lighting estimating or quotations.
Ability to build successful internal and external relationships.
Strong aptitude and appreciation for detail.
Experience reviewing construction plans, specifications, and related construction documents.
Experience with Bluebeam or similar on-screen take-off software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Positive customer-service skills.
Positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Manage the overall execution of the project bidding phase.
Collaborate and coordinate with clients, client design teams, Sales, junior estimators, and project managers.
Analyze and evaluate architectural and electrical drawings.
Produce accurate and timely lighting fixture and controls take-offs.
Identify discrepancies in specifications and drawings and issue RFIs.
Request pricing and lead times from vendors.
Produce submittal packages.
Produce comprehensive lighting quotations.
Review submittal approvals and update quotes accordingly.
Review lighting changes in drawing bulletins and addendums and update quotes accordingly.
Collaborate with the Sales team on proposals.
