As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll be the master of acquiring the supplies and parts that keep our projects humming along. You'll handle the daily buying duties and keep the team in the loop on what's coming in and when. Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the thrilling world of inventory and logistics in a manufacturing setting.
• 2 years of wrangling an ERP system or similar computerized inventory management system.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• A basic understanding of industrial automation components.

Responsibilities

• Summoning RFQs (Requests For Quotations) from vendors.
• Crafting and processing purchase orders and change orders.
• Reporting purchase order KPIs.
• Dealing with returns.
• Managing vendors, keeping relationships strong, and making sure the preferred ones don’t ghost us.
• Helping accounting onboard new vendors.
• Making sure we’re not paying taxes when we don’t have to.
• Negotiating like a pro to make sure we’re getting the best deal.
• Keeping project managers in the loop so they don’t panic about timelines.
• Monitoring deliveries like a hawk and flagging any risks or delays, ensuring everything arrives on time for the project build.
• Evaluating the best goods at the best prices.
• Teaming up with the shop for inventory management.
