About The Position

Gresham Smith is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement process and support clients in procuring goods and services. This role ensures compliance with laws and regulations, collaborates with project teams to understand requirements, negotiates contract terms, and maintains documentation. The specialist will monitor contract performance, coordinate procurement schedules, and perform other project controls duties. Requirements

  • A minimum associate degree or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, contract management, or project controls, which may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Expert knowledge of contract methodologies and procurement processes
  • Experience with basic business accounting and project management functions
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Teams, with the ability to adapt to client-specific software for scheduling and documentation
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with detail orientation and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively under strict deadlines
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement process and support clients in procuring goods and services
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Program Managers, PX, and Project Directors to understand project requirements, objectives, and milestones
  • Negotiate and draft contract terms and conditions
  • Maintain accurate records and document control systems
  • Monitor contract performance, expirations, and related timelines
  • Coordinate procurement schedules with project timelines and resource requirements
  • Perform other related project controls duties as assigned
