About The Position
Researches and negotiates major organizational contracts and procurements. Applies basic principles, theories, and concepts, limited industry knowledge. Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity, refers more complex issues to higher levels. Works under direct supervision. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Requirements
- Experience with procurement or direct purchasing in federal government contracting
- Experience evaluating and negotiating terms and conditions to identify and mitigate risk based on purchase order award type, commodity, and anticipated award value
- Experience performing price analysis and documenting fair and reasonable pricing determination
- Experience evaluating source justifications to ensure compliance with the procurement award type
- Ability to multitask and prioritize based on demand of requirements or workload
- HS diploma or GED
- U.S. citizenship is required
