Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Software contracting and IT Professional Service contracting
  • Strong Analytics and Interpersonal Skills
  • Knowledge Technology Nomenclature
  • Contract Knowledge
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Strong Microsoft Word & Excel Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 5 years of (job related experience) OR High School Diploma/GED from AND 8 years of (the same job-related experience)
  • Five (5) years of contract and negotiation experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Strong negotiation skills with attention to detail
  • Skilled written and oral communications
  • Working knowledge of IT supplier markets
  • Strong stakeholder management/influencing skills at a senior level.
  • Strong business, contract language and financial acumen.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Logistics and Supply Chain from an accredited institution

Responsibilities

  • Assist Global Category Managers in Implementing global sourcing strategies for multiple IT categories to ensure business continuity and value creation.
  • Assist Global Category Managers in Establishing and Managing supplier relationships that ensure cost and service benefits to the corporation.
  • Negotiating and establishing effective supplier contract agreements, holding suppliers accountable to competitive prices, high quality and best-in-class service
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize activities that align with Global IT Procurement goals
  • Collaborate on overall Procurement guidelines and processes.
  • Assist and Coordinate complex projects as well as initiatives that have a high value and broad implication to the corporation.
  • Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
