About The Position

The Procurement Specialist supports procurement, order management, inventory, and billing activities for TD SYNNEX's federal business. This role is responsible for executing purchasing transactions, maintaining accurate documentation, resolving order issues, and supporting vendor relationships while helping ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and profitability. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to accurate documentation and execution.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of relevant procurement, purchasing, supply chain, operations, or related business experience.
• Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Experience supporting procurement, purchasing, order management, inventory management, or related operational processes.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow established processes while exercising sound judgment.
• Strong data entry and transactional accuracy skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build collaborative working relationships with vendors and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze purchasing data and business requirements to make informed buying decisions for run-rate products.
• Create and manage drop ship and inventory purchase orders supporting federal procurement operations.
• Maintain compliance with vendor terms and conditions to mitigate business risk.
• Monitor and maintain order accuracy, resolve order-related issues, and support timely issue resolution.
• Ensure accurate documentation of procurement activities and transactions.
• Process timely and accurate billing activities to support revenue recognition requirements.
• Serve as a point of escalation for vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders, driving issues to resolution and communicating outcomes effectively.
• Conduct return authorization and stock rotation analysis to minimize inventory risk.
• Participate in vendor scorecard reviews and support ongoing vendor performance management.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and provide recommendations that enhance efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Support special projects and provide subject matter expertise when needed.
• Assist with onboarding and knowledge transfer activities for new team members.
