About The Position

The Field Services Procurement Specialist will source, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and services supporting NETA-certified electrical testing, commissioning, and maintenance projects. The role works closely with estimating, operations, project management, and sales to ensure procurement is cost-effective, timely, high-quality, and aligned with project specifications, client expectations, and company standards.

Requirements

At least 3 years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in electrical services, construction, or the power testing industry.
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple stakeholders.
Skills in vendor sourcing and negotiation, cost analysis and budget management, cross-functional collaboration, organization and time management, and problem-solving and adaptability.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with NETA-certified testing requirements and related equipment.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for materials, equipment, and tools.
Obtain competitive quotes, negotiate pricing, and make best-value purchasing decisions.
Support bid preparation with accurate material and vendor pricing in collaboration with the estimating team.
Partner with operations and project managers to fulfill material and equipment needs for ongoing field projects.
Coordinate with sales to align procurement with client expectations and project timelines.
Monitor vendor performance and maintain supplier relationships.
Track and manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and cost records.
Ensure compliance with company policies, NETA standards, and safety regulations.
