About The Position

Our Client is seeking a LOCALLY-BASED, North Carolina Procurement Project Manager/Coordinator to drive critical procurement initiatives and compliance projects while coordinating cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Manufacturing, Technology, and Procurement. This role is responsible for managing project plans, tracking milestones, providing leadership updates, and ensuring timely closure of procurement actions.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in project management/coordination with experience or strong understanding of procurement.
• Experience managing cross functional project plans, tracking projects, status reports, leadership updates, Excel and Sharpoint for documention.
• Experience working with/understanding SOX controls, governance processes, risk mitigation.
• Strong stakeholder management, organization, and project execution skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Power BI, Coupa, or SAP.
• Experience designing or supporting procurement dashboards, KPI reporting, performance management tools, or spend analytics.
• Knowledge of procurement compliance, audit readiness, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional project plans and procurement workstreams from initiation through completion.
• Track project status, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items using Excel and SharePoint for documentation and reporting.
• Provide leadership visibility through status reports, escalations, and governance updates.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, Compliance, HR, Manufacturing, and Technology teams to remove blockers and drive action ownership.
• Support risk mitigation efforts, governance processes, and compliance-related initiatives.
